From a young age, Cédric grew up in contact with the land and animals, immersed in the agricultural life of the Mont-sur-Rolle farm. His grandfather, whom he deeply admired, instilled in him a taste for a job well done and a love for the local land. It was he who encouraged him to turn to viticulture, a field where he could grow his passion while cultivating the family heritage.
In 1992, Cédric took over six hectares of vines on the plots of Château de Mont-sur-Rolle and Serge Bovard. Two years later, in 1994, he created with his uncle Pierre-André Meylan the Colombier vineyard, from land that was then grassland. From this adventure, the domain's first ranges were born: Les Réserves and Les Découvertes du Colombier.
In 1992, 1994, and 1999, Cédric became a father to three boys to whom he passed on, season after season, his love for wine and music — a passion shared by the whole family.
In 2010, the Les Gam'notes range naturally came into being, combining music and wine as two expressions of the same harmony. The label, inspired by their family musical notes, would become the domain's signature.
Today, Domaine Les Gam'notes boasts twelve hectares of vineyards, both leased and managed. Cédric's sons actively participate in the life of the estate, perpetuating this passion passed down from generation to generation.
In 2024, a new winery was inaugurated, marking a new step to welcome visitors into a modern, friendly space that remains true to the family spirit of the estate.
Music has always been a part of Cédric Albiez's life. He started playing in 1976 at the Rolle music school, before joining the Mont-sur-Rolle brass band in 1979. He still plays there today, alongside his sons, who have naturally followed in his musical footsteps.
Over the years, Cédric has also been involved in regional musical life. He directed several brass bands, including those of Gimel, Rue-Promasens, and Collombey, while also joining the committee of the Rolle Music School in 1996, where he would become president from 2005 to 2020.
In 2010, with his sons, he had the idea of creating a link between their two passions: music and wine. As the estate owned vineyards in the cadastral area of Les Gaillottes, a name already used by other winemakers, they wanted to stand out while keeping a trace of their roots. This is how the name "Les Gam'notes" was born — a musical nod and a tribute to the terroir, by taking the first two letters "GA" from Gaillottes.
A name that perfectly unites their two worlds: viticulture and the passion for music.
At Domaine Les Gam'notes, quality, respect for the terroir, and authenticity are at the heart of our wine production. Each bottle we create tells the story of our land, our expertise, and our passion for viticulture.
We are also committed to respecting the environment. This translates into the adoption of sustainable practices in our vineyards, where we minimize the use of phytosanitary products and herbicides, and favor methods that promote biodiversity.
We integrate innovation into our winemaking process, constantly seeking to improve the quality of our wines.
Since the 2022 vintage, we have been collaborating with Domaine du Feuillage on the creation of a unique wine, vinified in an 'égonome'.
Guided by his grandfather's advice, Cédric Albiez turned to viticulture, taking over his first plots in 1992. Two years later, he founded the Vignoble du Colombier with his uncle, giving birth to the first family cuvées. In 2010, the Les Gam'notes estate was established, blending music and wine in a spirit of sharing and passion.
Each member of our family plays an essential role. Cédric Albiez oversees every step: from the vineyard to the cellar, including sales and tastings. Quentin manages mechanization and wine production, while Bastien, a trained oenologist, advises on the elaboration of our wines. The 3rd brother, Mathieu, trained as a wine merchant, actively participates in cellar management.
Inaugurated in 2024, our new cellar marks a significant milestone for the estate. Already operational to welcome visitors, it continues to evolve to offer an ever more convivial space, perfectly suited for our tastings.

We are committed to integrating sustainable practices at the heart of our viticulture by adopting reasoned viticultural practices.
- use of pheromones for natural control of grape worms,
- grazing of some vineyard plots by chickens and sheep,
- use of green manures, such as mustard and phacelia
- and much more...
All these measures aim at preserving biodiversity and promoting soil health. These practices help preserve our terroir and guarantee the quality of our wines.
In terms of innovation, we stay abreast of new viticultural and winemaking practices and have introduced disease-resistant grape varieties, such as Divico. This grape variety allows us to adapt to climate challenges while preserving the integrity of our products.
Future challenge:
Implementation of trials of several rootstocks for the same grape variety to test its resistance to extreme weather conditions due to climate change.
Our estate is the fruit of a family passion passed down from generation to generation. Each member of our family plays an essential role in the success of Domaine Les Gam'notes, and it is this collaboration that allows us to create exceptional wines.
