Description: Made from a cross between Gamay and Reichtensteiner, this 100% Swiss grape variety is perfectly suited to the region's terroir and pairs beautifully with traditional local cuisine. Its barrel aging gives it a somewhat rustic character, structured yet with a lovely roundness, especially after several years of cellaring, when the tannins have softened. This wine offers spicy and highly aromatic notes on the nose, and on the palate, aromas of smoky caramel and a hint of wild berries.
